We’re all creatures of habit.
In my old life, the one as a sales executive in the corporate jungle of IT products and services, my life was driven by quarterly and annual quotas. These were measurements in regards to what was expected of me and my cohort.
Say what you will, these measurements kept me on track. This was a dashboard that told me where I stood in regards to the goals.
What gets measured gets done.
– What did you measure this quarter?
– How did you do?
– Reflect on what worked, what didn’t, and what you’re willing to change.
– What will be your measurements for the new quarter? July – September?
– Come October 1st, what would you like to share with me in regards to your measurements? 
– What enabled you to achieve these goals? Or, what got in the way of you falling short?
